My name is Eleazar Quezada. We are Field Coordinatiors in Mitla, Oaxaca, MEXICO. There are over 120 distinct language groups in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. For years, missionaries have been laboring here to translate the New Testament into the various indigenous languages. However, even in areas where the New Testament has been completed, in many cases it is not being used. The reason for this is that the vast majority of the one million Indians in the state of Oaxaca are illiterate. Reading is not a value in the Indian cultures, and so God’s Word remains largely inaccessible to whole people groups. Our job is to bridge the gap between the translated Scriptures and a full-fledged indigenous church by
Recording the Scriptures on cassette in the Indian languages
Dubbing the “Jesus Video”, “Luke Video” and the “Genesis Video” into the Indian languages. Working with local churches
Training pastors and Hosting work teams

Radha and Samen Manickam serve with Mission to the Americas in Cambodia and live in Seattle, WA. Both Radha and Samen were victims of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia in the mid-70’s, forced into labor camps, and finally able to flee the country. Radha was not able to return to Cambodia until 1989, when he met with pastors and leaders to found Cambodian Ministries for Christ. He has been president of this organization for the past 20 years and makes at least four trips to Cambodia each year while working with Steve Reed and Partnership Ministries.
Ministry-at-a-Glance
Primary Ministry Focus Leading GWM team in church planting and leadership training.
The People Great Love Church has young working adults; Great Hope Church has factory workers and contract laborers; and Great Praise Church has middle class families and college students.
Major Challenges Church members’ long working hours; limited education of factory workers; loss of teammates; few committed men; and strengthening friendships among spiritual leaders.
Prayer Focus Deeper commitment to Christ; for male leaders to take on increased responsibility; pastors’ health and spiritual vitality; unity and common vision; and teammates helping each other succeed.
